Last weekend, Swindon played host to Radio 1's biggest event of the year. As Lydiard was transformed for the festival, many were left devastated when tickets weren't received in vast amounts of Swindon.
The festival took place on both the 9th and 10th of May, with 20,000 people making their way to Swindon for the collaboration of artists to perform an array of songs.
Saturday saw artists such as Snow Patrol, The Saturdays, The Script, Calvin Harris and Dizzee Rascal take to the main stage, which held 15,000.
On Sunday, it was the turn for artists such as Ne-Yo, N-Dubz, Akon, Scouting for Girls and Alesha Dixon to perform for the crowds in the tent, which was the largest in the country.
Overall, the event succeeded in shining a spotlight on Swindon.
