Team Greendown made the most of their recent successes whilst running against the best runners in the county.
Greendown was the only school that put teams into the competition, which was a surprise to Miss Hunter as she was expecting the mighty force of Ridgeway to be there!! But this was a credit to the students and parents who made the drive up to Corsham Park to compete.
The course was likened to Lydiard Park, but the wind and the rain was the testing factor in the races.
Under 13 girls was the first race, which was years 7 and 8 joined together. The team did extremely well and came in first, medals are to follow to school!!

I was extremely pleased with the efforts of all our runners, they achieved lots against strong Wiltshire runners. Please take the time to congratulate those pupils that run as it is a brilliant achievement for them and for the school!!
