Several weeks ago, a group of Greendown students took part in a film competition based on 'Sustainable Swindon'. Keith Phillips from Create Studios came to work with the group, helping to come up with ideas for the film. After a few sessions together, they thought of a brilliant idea for a film. This competition was open to all schools in Swindon, but Greendown managed to win!
The prize was to take the ideas from our group and turn it into a real documentary. Our lucky group will be working with an award-winning director and eventually the film will be shown on the BBC Big Screen in the town centre! Our group will be using hi-tech camera equipment to make a great film on Sustainable Swindon, so keep your eyes peeled!
