Year 10 Coursework Trip To Avebury

"Is tourism destroying Avebury?"
This is what Year 10 Geography students will be investigating on a forth coming Trip to the area in question.
The trip will be taking place on Wednesday 29th April 2009; with Mr Pearson's and Mrs Barker's groups going in the morning and Ms Togher's classes going in the afternoon.
An important element of the work will be the data collection, with this data being used to complete their final piece of coursework. Pupils will be given a booklet to guide them on the completion of this coursework which will involve looking at the economic and environmental impact of tourism on Avebury and the surrounding area.
Pupils do not have to wear school uniform in Avebury but they must have the uniform in school. There is no charge for the trip. Appropriate clothing will be expected as the trip will run whatever the weather and the pupils will be outside for the whole of the morning or afternoon session.
Please note that the afternoon groups may be back at 4 O'clock rather than 3.30.
