Year 8 Science Trip

On the 24th April 2009, the science department arranged a trip to the London Science Museum for Year 8 students.

They toured the museum and attended the IMAX cinema, where they saw 'Space Station 3D'. Using 3 dimensional technology, the film told the amazing story of all the astronauts in space after Neil Armstrong landed on the moon. They felt the force of a launch, looked into the depths of space, experienced life in zero gravity and accompanied astronauts on a space walk. They also took part in classroom based lessons.

More info of the trip will be also be posted, including a review.
